1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using MAJC Adventures ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
MAJC Adventures is an AI-powered travel planning tool that generates personalized itineraries, route maps, budget estimates, and travel recommendations. The Service is available in Free, Explorer, and Expedition subscription tiers.
3. Accounts
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address and accurate information. You may not share your account with others.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid access is available three ways, all billed through Stripe: monthly subscriptions (Explorer $9/month, Expedition $19/month), annual subscriptions (Explorer $89/year, Expedition $185/year), one-time Trip Passes (Explorer $12, Expedition $19), and Pro plans for travel professionals, quoted individually and billed monthly or annually that grant the corresponding plan's features for 30 days with no renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel a subscription at any time through your account; your paid access continues through the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier. Trip Passes do not renew and simply expire at the end of their 30 days. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. All prices are quoted before tax and tax is added on top of them: any sales tax or VAT that applies to your billing address is calculated and shown at checkout in addition to the amount above, never deducted from it.
Upgrading between plans mid-cycle (for example, Explorer to Expedition) is prorated through Stripe: the unused remainder of the current billing period is credited against the new plan's price, and only the difference is charged. You are never billed twice for the same period.
Fair use. Each paid plan includes a generous fair-use allowance of AI itineraries per rolling 30-day period (currently up to 10 on Explorer, up to 12 on Expedition, up to 200 on Pro), each itinerary running up to 10 days on Explorer and up to 14 days on Expedition and Pro, in addition to hourly and daily rate limits. Generating an itinerary, revising a whole itinerary, and replanning a day each count as one; smaller AI features, such as editing a single line, do not. The destination search ("Not sure where to go?") has a separate allowance of its own: 20 searches in total on the Free tier, and twice the plan's itinerary allowance per rolling 30-day period on every paid plan. It does not draw on the itinerary allowance. A Trip Pass is not a rolling allowance: it includes 2 itineraries in total, generated at any time within its 30 days, and revising or replanning those itineraries does not count against that number. The allowances are sized for personal and family trip planning; professional or commercial-volume planning requires the Pro plan. We may adjust allowances with notice, and may suspend accounts that circumvent them. AI features also depend on third-party model providers, and we may pause or limit them temporarily to keep the Service available.
5. AI-Generated Content
Itineraries, recommendations, and all content generated by the Service are produced by artificial intelligence and are provided for informational purposes only. MAJC Adventures does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any generated content. Travel conditions, prices, hours of operation, and availability change frequently. Always verify critical details — including addresses, reservations, visa requirements, and safety conditions — through official sources before traveling.
6. Third-Party Bookings, Reservation Portals, and Affiliate Links
The Service may display links to third-party booking and reservation websites — including flight, hotel, and vacation-rental search sites, and government or state park reservation portals — prefilled with your trip details for convenience. MAJC Adventures, LLC is not a travel agent, broker, or seller of travel. Any booking you make through such a link is a transaction solely between you and that third party, on that third party's terms. We are not a party to, and accept no responsibility or liability for, any such transaction — including pricing, availability, booking errors, changes, cancellations, refunds, service quality, or any loss or dispute arising from it. All such matters must be resolved directly with the third-party provider.
Some third-party links are affiliate links, meaning MAJC Adventures may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not change the prices you pay and do not make us a party to your booking.
Travel insurance and similar informational content. Any content the Service provides about travel insurance, discounts, deals, or similar topics is general information only. It is not insurance, financial, legal, or professional advice; we do not sell, offer, recommend, or endorse any insurance policy or provider, and we receive no compensation from insurers. Whether to purchase insurance, and from whom, is entirely your decision — review any policy's terms directly with the provider. MAJC Adventures, LLC accepts no liability for decisions made in reliance on such informational content.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service; (c) create multiple free accounts to circumvent tier limits or fair-use allowances; (d) resell or redistribute generated itineraries for commercial purposes without written permission.
8. Intellectual Property
The MAJC Adventures platform, branding, and underlying code are owned by MAJC Adventures, LLC. Itineraries you generate are yours to use for personal travel planning. You retain no rights to the AI models, software, or platform itself.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. MAJC Adventures makes no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any travel recommendation will be suitable for your specific circumstances.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MAJC Adventures, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: travel costs or losses incurred based on AI-generated recommendations; any events, accidents, injuries, illnesses, delays, cancellations, or losses that occur during a trip; any harm arising from or related to a planned or suggested itinerary, route, activity, or destination; any transaction with, or failure of, third-party services, vendors, booking sites, reservation portals, accommodations, or transportation — whether or not reached through a link (including an affiliate link) on the Service; or reliance on informational content such as travel insurance notes, deal listings, or reservation guidance. The Service provides informational planning assistance only. All travel decisions, bookings, and activities are undertaken at your own risk. MAJC Adventures, LLC is not a licensed travel agency, tour operator, insurance producer, or travel advisor, and accepts no responsibility for the outcome of any trip.
11. Cap on Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of MAJC Adventures, LLC to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms — whether in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise — will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred United States dollars ($100). This cap applies in addition to, and not instead of, the disclaimers in sections 9 and 10. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so parts of sections 9, 10, and 11 may not apply to you; nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Service, are governed by the laws of the state in which MAJC Adventures, LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
Talk to us first. Before filing anything, please contact us at miranda@majcadventures.com with a short description of the problem and what you would like us to do. We will do the same for any claim we have against you. Most issues are billing questions we can resolve the same day, and we ask both sides to try for 30 days before starting a formal proceeding.
Venue. If a dispute is not resolved informally, you and MAJC Adventures, LLC agree that it will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the state in which MAJC Adventures, LLC is organized, and both of us consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. This does not prevent either of us from bringing an individual claim in a small-claims court that has jurisdiction, and it does not prevent either of us from seeking injunctive relief to protect intellectual property.
Time limit. Any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms must be filed within one year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, to the extent that limit is permitted by applicable law.
13. General
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions stay in full force.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account without our written consent. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, on notice to you.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund & Cancellation Policy, are the entire agreement between you and MAJC Adventures, LLC about the Service, and replace any earlier understanding on that subject.
Force majeure. Neither party is liable for a delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including outages of third-party services the Service depends on.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
