Subscriptions
MAJC Adventures offers monthly subscriptions (Explorer $9/month, Expedition $19/month, Pro $49/month), annual subscriptions (Explorer $49/year, Expedition $99/year, Pro $399/year), and one-time 30-day Trip Passes (Explorer $12, Expedition $19). Subscriptions are billed automatically on the date you first subscribed, monthly or yearly. Trip Passes are one-time charges that never renew. Mid-cycle plan upgrades are prorated by Stripe — you are only charged the difference for the remainder of the billing period, never twice for the same days.
Trip Passes
Trip Passes are non-refundable once an itinerary has been generated during the pass period. If you purchased a pass and have not used it at all, contact us within 7 days and we will refund it.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation fee. To cancel:
- Go to your Account page
- Click Manage Subscription
- Select Cancel plan in the Stripe portal
Your paid access continues through the end of your current billing period. After that, your account automatically reverts to the Free tier. You will not be charged again.
Refunds
Because MAJC Adventures provides immediate access to digital content and AI-generated services upon payment, all subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time within a billing period.
Exceptions
We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:
- You were charged in error (duplicate charge, billing system failure)
- You were charged after cancelling your subscription
- The service was completely unavailable for a substantial portion of your billing period due to our error
To request a refund under one of these exceptions, contact us within 14 days of the charge at miranda@majcadventures.com with your account email and a description of the issue.
Free Trial
MAJC Adventures offers a permanent Free tier — no credit card required. We encourage you to use the Free tier to evaluate the service before subscribing to a paid plan.
Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank rather than contacting us first, your account will be suspended pending review. We encourage you to contact us directly — we are committed to resolving billing issues fairly and promptly.
